The Nebraska Horse Club Association board met on May 17, 2010, at the Workforce Development Office in Grand Island. Members present were Vicki Pflasterer, Rob Ebel, Monnie Fischer, Joni Ebel, Rosemary Johns and guest, Deb Adams. Absent were jaci Behlen, John Bachelor, Amy Lilienthal and Cher Scoville.
A motions to approve the April minutes was made by Rosemary and seconded by Joni.
A finacial report was given showing a current balance of $1586.28. Joni presented a bill for the printing of the new rule books in the amount of $174.98. Rosemary made a motion that payment be made to Joni and Monnie seconded it. 
NHCA BENEFIT SHOW
The show was reported as a huge success! Beth will be receiving her payment soon and the club also welcomed some new members along with the sale of rule books. Thank You's were sent for those who helped sponsor the benefit including Dave Birt, Western Edge, Pepsi, TSC and the Sheriff's Posse.
NHCA ICEBREAKER SHOW
The help needed to work was discussed along with making sure we have the necessary supplies for the show. An entry sheet for the show should be on the web site shortly. This will give contestants the opportunity to print it out and have it ready when they enter. 
RULE BOOK
The new rule books are ready! They will be available at the IceBreaker show for $5.00. The rule books will not be available by mail.
FUNDRAISERS
The club will hold a 4D Run in St. Paul on June 12. A flyer will be on the web site soon.
A raffle will be held at the IceBreaker Show. All board members will be donating items. Members are welcome to donate also, all proceeds will go to the year end awards. Tickets will be available for $1.00 or 6 tickets for $5.00. Drawings will be held on both Saturday and Sunday.
Rob made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Rosemary seconded it.
The next meeting will be held following the show on Satuday, May 29, in Grand Island.
