June Minutes

The Nebraska Horse Club Association held their monthly meeting on June 19, 2010, at the Sheriff's Posse Arena, following the show. 
> Vicki Pflasterer, Rob Ebel, Monnie Fischer, Jaci Behlen, Joni Ebel, Rosemary Johns and Amy Lilienthal were present while John Bachelor and Cher Scoville were absent. 
> A motion to approve the minutes from the last meeting was made by Rosemary and seconded by Rob.
> The finacial report was given with a current balance of $5785.10 with bills from Fonner Park still to pay. Monnie made a motion to accept the report and Amy seconded.
> A bill for the repair of the timer used for the NHCA games was present by Rosemary in the amount of $126.29. Monnie made a motion to pay the bill and Joni seconded. Rosemary made a motion to send $50 to Deb Weber for the use of her timer at the Icebreaker show. (the NHCA timer was not working) Monnie seconded the motion.
> The Icebreakers show was disscussed. It was a huge success! The practice pleasure class seemed to be more participated in then expected and the raffel did well also.
> The article published in the Columbus Telegram was discussed and will be responded to by the board.
> A reschedule date for the 4D run was also dicussed. Rosemary will see what dates are available.
> The discussion of speed rule #2 and breaking a tie of ties was tabled until the general membership meeting.
> It was previously voted that 1/2 of the entry fee from the practice pleasure class would go the club and the other 1/2 would be donated to a worthy cause. Board members are to bring information to the next meeting on ideas for the donation.
> A show has been scheduled in Ord for July 25th. There will also be an open show (non NHCA) the following day in Burwell.
> The next meeting will be held following the show on Saturday in Seward, July 31.
> Joni made a motion to adjoun the meeting and Amy seconded.
